Biography

Hugh Morrow was enumerated at Randolph, Randolph County, Alabama for the October 19, United States Census, 1850. He was noted as born in 1816 in South Carolina as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are female Sarah Morrow, male Arthur Morrow and female Nancy Morrow.[1]

Hugh Morrow was enumerated at Rockdale Post Office, The Northern Division, Randolph County, Alabama for the August 27, United States Census, 1860. He was noted as born 1815 in South Carolina. He was a farmer and had $500 in value of real estate and had $150 in value of personal estate as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are female Sarah C Morrow, male Arthur Morrow, female Nancy Morrow and female Esther Morrow.[2]

Research Notes

Though most family trees list his death in 1910, there does not seem to be any actual document to verify. Also, he has not been found in either 1880, 1900 or 1910 Census. The last public record found for him is 1870 Census.
