Birth and Parents

Mary (Morse) Perrin was born in Connecticut.

Mary, the second daughter and second of ten children of John Morse and Elisabeth Bugbee was born on 25 October 1755 at Woodstock, Connecticut.^[1]

Marriages and Children

Mary was married twice. She wed 1) Peter Perrin (1750-1796) on 2 February 1780 at Woodstock, Connecticut. They had eight children born at Pomfret, Vermont:

1. Charles Perrin (b. 11 Dec 1781; d. 1814),^[2] m. 15 Jan 1806 at Sharon, VT, Matilda Child (1788-1836)
2. Chester Perrin (b. 1782; d. 13 May 1865),^[3] m. 5 Dec 1805 at Pomfret, VT, Olive Goff (1786-1855)

Peter Perrin died on 16 February 1796 at Pomfret, Windsor, Vermont.

Mary (Morse) Perrin married 2) Increase Hewitt on 19 March 1805 at Pomfret, Vermont.^[13]There are no known children from this union. Mary and Peter Perrin's daughter, Laura, married Increase Hewitt's son, Joseph Hewitt in 1809.

Death and Burial

Mary (Morse) Perrin-Hewitt died on 17 February 1843 in her 88th year at Pomfret, Vermont.^[14]

Mary was born in 1755. She passed away about 1843.
