Biography

Henry and Abigail Morse had at least six children in which they are listed as parents in Massachusetts Vital Records, including daughters, Amity, on April 13, 1750, and Ruth on 8 Jun 1747 in Stoughton, Norfolk, Massachusetts.

"Henry Morse, son of Rev. Joseph and Priscilla (Colburn) Morse, was born in Dorchester, Mass., April 16, 1715. He resided in Stoughton, where he married, July 10, 1745, Abigail, daughter of Joshua and Abigail (Boyden) Clapp. They had children: John, Ruth, Amity, Asa, Henry and Abigail."
