1933 - Of the many family reunions held over the holidays one of the most pleasant was the gathering at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Morse. In the party were Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Ross and family of East Hartford, Conn., Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ross and family of Framingham, Mass., Mr. and Mrs. Levi Ross and daughter and Mrs. Harriet Ross, all of Lisbon, and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Morse and daughter. Obituary
BELFAST, Jan. 15 (1951) -- Willard S. Morse, 83, of Belmont, died today at his home after an illness of a few weeks. He was born in Belmont, Oct. 31, 1867, the son of George W. and Hester (McLean) Morse.
His wife, the former Annabel Paul of Belfast, is deceased, but he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Geneva Bryant, Belmont; a step-daughter, Mrs. Maude Dickey, Belfast; two sons, Herbert and Willard J. both of Belmont; 16 grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Quantabacook lodge, A. F. & A. M., Searsmont, and Rosewood chapter, OES, also of Searsmont. He was a past master of Mystic grange of Belmont.
Masonic funeral services will be conducted by the officers of Quantabacook lodge, Searsmont, at the Coombs funeral home in Belfast, Wednesday, at 2 p. m.
Remains will be placed in the Grove cemetery tomb, Belfast for burial in the spring in Hillside cemetery, Belmont. [13]
