Biography
Phoebe was baptised on May 5th 1792. Her parents were Samuel and Mary. They were living in Yorkley[1]
On 21 Oct 1820 she married James Davis in Newland. Henry Morse was a witness. [2] No evidence has been found that they had any children.
In 1841 James and Phebe were in their 40's and he was a Coal Miner. They lived in Yorkley. [3] In 1851 James and Phebe lived on Bailey Hill and James was a Miner Agent. [4]
In 1871 James and Phebe were living in Yorkley. James was a Coal Proprietor. [5]
Pheobe died in 1880 aged 86 and was buried on 8th August. She had been living at Yorkley Slade. [6]
