Alice was listed in the 1900 census as "Allie D." She married George Alexander "Alec" McCartney.^[1] In 1920 they were living in Franklin Parish, Louisiana. In 1930, the family was living in Winn Parish, Louisiana. By the 1940 Census, Alec has passed away and Alice was a Head of Household.

She later married Pete Smith. Alice passed away in 1964.
