Biography

Mary Ann was born in 1826 in Bowdoinham, Maine, the daughter of Nathan Morse Jr. and Lucy (Lathrop) Morse. The family migrated to Bedford, Ohio in 1833. Her father died in 1838, when she was 12.

She married William Shuart in Gates Mills, Ohio in 1849. [1] They had the following children:

William died in 1885. She moved to Cleveland to live with her daughters. [2]

She passed away in 1921. [3] [4] [2]
