WEDDING REPORT. Mother's locket. IT'S quite the fashion for the modern bride to wear something worn by mother on her wedding day. Miss Joan Potts decided to wear the silver locket her mother had worn on her wedding-day for her marriage this evening to Mr. A. W. Mortimer in St. Mary's Church, Colin-street. The bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Potts, of Mt. Lawley, and the bridegroom the eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mortimer, of Mt. Lawley. Wedding highlights are: —BRIDE'S ENSEMBLE: Gown of magnolia satin with high neckline outlined with seed pearls and draped skirt falling into a long train; tulle veil held by high coronet of orange blossom; carrying shower bouquet of gardenias. BRIDESMAIDS: Misses Margaret Watson and Jean Weir, wearing off-the-shoulder frocks of blue net, with very full skirts; on their heads, coronets of pastel shaded flowers to match their armfuls of pastel shaded gladioli and hydrangeas. BRIDEGROOM'S ATTENDANTS: Mr. Patrick Coughlan (best man) and Mr. Basil Cox (groomsman). BRIDE'S MOTHER wearing frock of japonica and navy and carrying autumn-shaded bouquet for reception at the home of BRIDE'S SISTER, Mrs. Ted White of Hamersley-road, Subiaco, who chose black skirt and floral French satin top, with toning shoulder-spray. BRIDE'S TRAVELLING OUTFIT: Blue frock with burgundy accessories.
