Doctor Kingsley Edward Mortimer MRCS, LRCP, DTM was born on 21st July 1909 at New Zealand. He was a son of John Mortimer and Christina Connell. [1]
With these qualifications, MRCS, LRCP, and DTM, Kingsley became a medical doctor.
After marrying fellow Salvation Army Officer, Doctor Mavis McKenzie, at Croydon, Surrey, England in 1944, [2] the couple established a medical practice at 24 Wickateed Street, Wanganui, New Zealand. [3] Kingsley and Mavis became Salvation Army missionaries to Northern Rhodesia (Zambia); [4] later returning to New Zealand.
Kingsley passed away in 1980 at New Zealand. [5]
