Cornelius Morton was born on August 18, 1713. He was the son of Ephraim and Hannah (Faunce) Morton.
In 1724, Capt John Dyer was appointed guardian of Cornelius.[1]
Cornelius married Jane Johnson on May 3, 1735 in Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony. She was identified as being from North Yarmouth, Barnstable, and Massachusetts Bay Colony in their marriage record. Cornelius and Jane had the following six children all born in Kingston, Massachusetts Bay Colony::

On 7 January 1761, Cornelius quitclaimed his share of his mother's estate to his brother Ebenezer.[2]
Cornelius passed away after January 7, 1761 in North Yarmouth, Cumberland, Province (now State) of Maine.
