Maria (Morton) Robinson was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)

Maria Blanche Morton was born in 1883, her birth registered that year in Sale, Victoria, the daughter of John Morton and Julia Laughlan. ^[1]

Marriage. In 1909, in Victoria, she married John Joseph Robinson. ^[2]

Death. Maria died in 1954, aged 70.^[3]

ROBINSON (Nee Morton).—On March 25, 1954 at Mildon Private Hospital, Marie Blanche, of 63 Whitmuir Road, McKinnon, late of Sale; beloved sister of John (dec.), Annie (dec.), Moss (dec.), Arthur (dec.), Harry, William, George and Florrie.

Aged 70 years. At Rest.

PASSED AWAY

MRS. MARIE ROBINSON

Friends in the Sale district learned with deep regret on Friday that Mrs. Marie Blanche Robinson had passed away in Melbourne. The deceased who was aged 70 years had resided most of her life in Sale where she aided her husband in his farming life. Later, they resided at '"Pasedena" [Foster street, Sale] [She volunteered?] in the Sale Red Cross and other organisations and was a keen gardener. She made many friends. About nine years ago after the death of her husband, John Robinson, she took up residence in Melbourne. Mr. Len Robinson of Raymond street is a son. The funeral took place at Sale on Saturday. ^[5]
