Biography

Alexander Edward Morton was born in 1862 in Bedford, Bedfordshire, England. [1]

In 1881 Alexander was 18 and a lodger in the house of Samuel T Watton, on Albert Road, Tamworth, Staffordshire, England. He worked as a Solicitor's Articled Clerk. [2]

By the time of the 1891 Census, Alexander was 28 and had relocated to Nottingham, Nottinghamshire and was a lodger in a house on Bath Street. he worked as a Solicitor. [3]

He married Charlotte Frances Bousfield in July 1891 in Bedford, Bedfordshire, England. [4] [5]
