Biography
Charles Morton was the son of Nycolas Morton and Ales, daughter of Thomas Wentworth of Elmsall. He was Nycolas' second son and the heir to his older brother, Robert Morton
Charles married Mawde, the daughter of William Dalyson of Lyncolnshyre.
Charles and Mawde had the following children:
- Charles (son and heir) - died without issue
- Robert (2d son)
- Thomas (3d son) - died without issue
- Nycolas (4th son), a clerk - died without issue
- Antony (5ht son)
- Charles (6th son) - died without issue
- Jervys (7th son)
- Frauncis (8th son)
