Biography

Hannah Morton, born 14 Mar 1706/07 (year date expression per the Julian/Gregorian calendar shift), was the only child of Thomas Morton, the first husband of Hannah Grant.

She married 8 Aug 1727 at Westfield, Massachusetts, Dr. Ebenezer Fletcher of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, then Windsor, Connecticut. Three children are listed in their online memorial sites:

  • Cotton Fletcher (1729–1777)
  • Silence Fletcher (1731 – )
  • Ebenezer Fletcher (1734–1804)

Hannah (Morton) Fletcher died 16 Sep 1776 at Salisbury, Connecticut. Her grave is in Center Cemetery, Salisbury, Litchfield County, Connecticut, USA [1].

Morton-5011 and Morton-2177 appear to represent the same person because: Both profiles represent the husband of Hannah Morton, who was born at Windsor, Connecticut (not Westfield or any place in Massachusetts). See The Grant Family reference source on that.
