Cork was born in 1929 in Ohio. He was the fifth child born to Clyde Morton and Beulah Marmet.
He married Nan White on the 19th of January 1952 in Osage County, Missouri.
They had two children.
During the Korean conflict, he joined the Air Force. He was a Mason; a member of St. John's Methodist Church.[1]
In 2009, he died unexpectedly in a car wreck just two weeks before his 80th birthday making the 3rd death in the family in a four month period. His body was cremated and he has a memorial marker at the Linn Public Cemetery.[2]
