Biography

Catherine was born in 1787. She passed away in 1840.

Catherine was baptised on 31 July 1787 at St Martin, Birmingham, her parents recorded as Thomas and Catherine Morton.[1]

Catherine Morton (1787–1840) married James Elvins (1788–1836) at St Mary, Handsworth, Birmingham on 9 September 1805.[2] Handsworth is a suburb of Birmingham.[3]

Her husband James Elvins died in August 1836. He was buried on 25 August 1836 at St Philip Birmingham, his age recorded as 48.[4]

"Catherine - wife of James Elvins" died four years later at the "Workhouse Lichfield Street" and was buried on 2 August 1840 at St Philip Birmingham, her age recorded as 52.[5]
