Biography

Samuel Melvin Morton was born on April 22, 1858, in Stewart, Georgia, to Charles Morton and Mary Williams. In 1870 he is living in his parents home in Stewart, Georgia, USA [1] On 4 June 1880 he is living in his parents home in Richland, Stewart, Georgia, USA [2]

Samuel Morton and Nancy F. Wall married on 10 Jun 1880 in Stewart County, Georgia. [3][4] They had six children during their marriage.

  2. Joseph Edwin Morton (1883–1959)
  3. Blossie Bell Matan Chapman (1890–1926)
  4. Lottie Dell Morton (1892–?1969?)
  5. Mary O Dunlia Morton (1894–?)
