Thomas Clarence Morton was born 11 January 1901 in New South Wales, Australia, to Thomas Morton and Lucy Helena Wilson. The event was registered at Ballina New South Wales.

Occupied as a labourer in 1934; a licensed drainer in 1949 and 1959.

Married to Elsie Grace Walls on 13 December 1924 at New Farm, Brisbane and they had seven children named- Cecil Francis Morton, Eileen Grace Morton, Thomas Clarence Morton, Francis John Morton, Joseph John Morton, Patricia Margaret Morton Merle Mary Morton.

Death occurred on 5 July 1977; buried Pinnaroo cemetery, Brisbane, Queensland.
