Biography
Washington Drake Morton, son of Isaac and Nancy (Drake) Morton, was born on 4 Sep. 1810 in Williston, Chittenden, Vermont.[1] [2]
He married Laura Ingersoll.[2]
He and Laura appeared on the census of 10 Sep. 1850 at Mundy, Genesee, Michigan.[3] He and Laura appeared on the census of 21 July 1860 at York, Washtenaw, Michigan.[4] He and Laura appeared on the census of 28 June 1870 at York, Washtenaw, Michigan.[5] He and Laura appeared on the census of 21 June 1880 at York, Washtenaw, Michigan.[6]
Washington died on 5 Feb. 1895 at Milan, Washtenaw County, Michigan and was buried at York Cemetery, Milan, Washtenaw County, Michigan. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and links to those of family members.[2]
