Domenica was born in November 1892 at her parents' home on via Banditore, 16. She is the daughter of Giovanni Moscato, trafficante (merchant), and Francesca Paola Moscato. The midwife Carmela Cerniglia reported his birth as Giovanni was out of town.[1][2]
She marries GIovanni La Barba, son of Carmelo La Barba and Rosalia Lo Bello, on 29 April 1925 in Corleone.[3]
