Lydia Moseley Dewey, b. 19 Feb 1716, d. on 19 June 1787 in Great Barrington, Berkshire, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Consider Mosley and his wife, Elizabeth Bancroft.[1]

Lydia married Israel Dewey in 1734.[2]

Lydia passed away in 1787[3]


Lydia Mosley (spelled Mosely in most records or Moseley) was born either on February 9, 1715 (old style) [4] or February 19, 1716[1] at Westfield, Massachusetts.

Per Massachusetts, Town Vital Collections, 1620-1988, the daughter of Consider Mosley was born 9 Feb 1715 in Westfield, Massachusetts

This is the only contemporary source I have found, all others are derivative sources.

Mosely-174 and Moseley-1014 appear to represent the same person because: Everything matches, except one letter, and I have seen both spellings in different records.
