Ida was born in November of 1874 in McLean County, Kentucky. Before marrying her husband, Gourley Donaldson, she moved with her parents to Clay County, Arkansas (where she lived until she died). Ida married Gourley Donaldson in Rector, (Clay County) Arkansas on 20 Dec, 1898. They raised their family in Rector--where she gave birth to 11 children, (8 living to adulthood). She passed away 20 July,1952, and is buried in the Woodland Park Cemetery in Rector, Arkansas.
