Catherine Boush Moseley was born August 26, 1814, a daughter of Burwell Bassett Moseley and Elizabeth Amy Boush. In 1832, Catherine married Dr. James Henley Cornick, a son of Thomas Cornick. Catherine died March 17, 1882 and is buried in the Grace Cemtery, in Genito, Powhatan county, Virginia. [1]
Find A Grave erroneously assigns her father, as the son of Samuel Mosely, however, Burwell is the son of Edward Hack Moseley, Jr. The name of Burwell's wife is from the Daughters of the American Revolution: https://services.dar.org/public/dar_research/search_adb/?action=full&p_id=A081971
The fact that Catherine's mother is Elizabeth Amy Boush is further evidenced by Catherine's middle name of Boush and that she named her daughter Elizabeth Amy Boush Cornick : https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/210444498/elizabeth-amy_boush-cornick
