Hulda Marie Mosey was born on December 9, 1864 in Darke County, Ohio. She was one of nine children born to Jacob Mosey and Susanna Wise Mosey. She was Annie Oakley's sister.
The Mosey children were:
- Mary Jane Mosey - (April 22, 1851 - April 11, 1867) died at age 16 of tuberculosis
- Lidia Maria Mosey - (Aug 6, 1852 - March 8, 1882) married Joseph Stein
- Elizabeth Mosey - (April 5, 1855 - June 18, 1881) never married
- Sarah Ellen Mosey - (April 4, 1857 - July 22, 1930) married name Grabfelder
- Catharine Mosey - (Feb 14, 1859 - Nov 8, 1859) died at 9 months old
- Phoebe Ann Mosey - (Annie Oakley) -(Oct 13, 1860 - Nov. 3, 1926) married Frank E. Butler (Jan 30, 1847 - Nov 21, 1926)
- John Henry Mosey - (August 17, 1861- March 31, 1949), changed his name to Moses
- Hulda (Hilda) Marie Mosey Haines - (Dec 12, 1864- March 27, 1934) married three times
- Infant Mosey (1865-1865) - stillborn
Marriages and Children
On March 2, 1884, she married Stephen B. Shaner and they had two children: Dorothea Shaner, born January 25, 1885 and died December 26, 1886,
and a son Dartha Ray Shaner, born November 30, 1885. Both died in infancy.
Stephen B. Shaner died on December 24, 1886. Huldah lost her husband and both children in 1886.
On July 30, 1887, Hulda married John K. Campbell and they had four children.

John K. Campbell died on November 22, 1910 and was buried in Greenville Union Cemetery in Greenville, Ohio.
On July 4, 1912, Hulda Campbell, age 48, married Albert H. Haines, age 53, in Muncie Indiana. They remained married until his death on April 21, 1922.
Hulda Haines died at the age of 69 on March 27, 1934 in Detroit Michigan. Her body was transported back to Ohio and she was buried in Greenville Union Cemetery in Greenville, Darke County, Ohio with her second husband John K Campbell and her third husband, Albert H Haines.
Her first husband Stephen B Shaner was buried in Old Ansonia Cemetery in Ansonia Ohio.
