Marie Josephe Moncion was born October 3, 1780 in Ste-Geneviève-de-Pierrfonds, Province of Québec. She was the daughter of Jean Baptiste Moncion and Marie Catherine Laroque [1]

Marie Josephe married Jean Baptiste Renaud, son of Jean Baptiste Renaud and Mary Vincent, October 6, 1795 in St-Martin, Île Jésus, Lower Canada [2]
