Joseph Mosley was injured in the Black Mine Flowery Field Colliery Explosion on 8-Apr-1842

Joseph was born about 1800.

He worked in the Flowery Field Black Mine pit as a hooker-on. On the morning of 8 Apr 1842 there was an explosion in the lower level and the explosion knocked him down. He was overcome by the gas and his arm was broken in 2 places. He was assisted from the pit. [1] [2]
