Obituary[1]
B. Doyle, was born April 8, 1909, in Hickory, Oklahoma, to Zack T. and Irah Mosley, the second of five children. He died peacefully at age 93 after a long and productive life. Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Zack Terrel and Joe Truett, plus his only sister, Margaret. Doyle lived with his family in several east central Oklahoma towns before alighting in Oklahoma City in 1925. His mother led him to trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour when he was about 10 years old. At Capitol Hill Baptist Church, Doyle met Ellen Jo Healy, who later became his wife. He adored her and cared for her for 67 years. She died May 26, 1996. Doyle worked for Southwestern Bell for 47 years, retiring in 1974. He and his wife were loyal to the church all through those years, as Deacon, Sunday School teachers, workers with children, committee members, church visitors, choir members, etc. This was noted by their two sons, Ben and Joe, and had a positive impact on both their lives, for each went into the Gospel Ministry as his life work. Having described their Dad in one way or another for all of their lives, words now fail. Doyle did his very best at serving the Lord, working hard, being a wonderful husband and a firm yet loving Dad. This Scripture captures him, 'Whatsoever his hand found to do, he did it with all his might.' Doyle is survived by his two sons, Ben Doyle, Jr. and his wife, Donna, and their three daughters, Lisa, Lydia and Laura, and Joe Wayne and his wife, Eileen, and their two children, Steve and Juli. Also his younger brother, Robert Lee (Bob), who lives in Florida. Besides their two sons, Doyle and Ellen had 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Private family services planned.
