Biography

• Margaret was baptised 23 May 1585 in St Pancras Soper Lane^[1] -- daughter of Rowland MOSLEY and Ann HAUGHTON or HOUGHTON Mosley. Her godfather was John White and her godmothers were her grandmother Margaret Mosley and her aunt Isabell Holland.
• On September 21, 1606, she was married to William WHITMORE (later Sir William WHITMORE) at St. James' Chapel, Didsbury, Lancashire, England; under the heading "September 1606" the marriage record reads, "Mr William Whitmore Esquire and Mrs Margaret Mosely ye 21st day" (see also "Family Memoirs", p. 12; "Mosley Memoranda, p. 10).
• She passed away in January 31, 1608 (Julian calendar; see "Mosley Memoranda", p. 10).
