note from Kent Creamer: Though it is possible that this Joel Moss is actually a cousin of the Joel Moss (1755-1756) that I have as son of Jesse Moss (1729-1793) & Mary (Moss) Moss (1731-1819), I have added info from the data I have to this profile, believing it to be the same person. Though some of my info has Cheshire as the town of his birth, Wallingford is the birthplace of many others of the Moss family. Please let me know if I have done this in error.
