Thanks for your work on Mary Elizabeth Wright, Judith! I can see now where I mixed up the two Mary Elizabeths. We'll now need to merge Wright-23156 into Wright-22887. You'll see a merge request.

Hi Judith: Could you please provide sources for the changes and additions you are making to the Denison tree. For example, I'm a little confused as to why you removed Mary Wright as J. George Denison's wife. The source for the marriage seems ironclad to me. On the other hand, if the second wife (need a source for her, too) was the mother of any of George's children, I can help you correct that. Thanks!

Hi, I am Dorothy, a WikiTree mentor!! Are you enjoying your time on WikiTree so far?

Now that you have had a little time to try our site, there are a few more features you may find useful:

For instance, ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards; including some tips on writing biographies

Also a friendly reminder about adding sources and references to your profile. Sources are critically important for genealogy and you will be helping future genealogists by listing where the information you've added came from. This page describes different kinds of sources: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Sources

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

I've been researching my families most of my life. I don't know why I haven't put it on Wikitree before. Better make up for it now!
Hi Judith,

Welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site you’ve ever used.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? After you’ve confirmed your email address, you’ll see a Volunteer option on your profile page. Click that and leave us a short message about your genealogical interests. A Greeters Project volunteer will be happy to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way! Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here.
