Biography

Sarah Elizabeth Moss was born on January 2, 1853 in Iowa to Solomon W. and Rebecca (Draper) Moss.[1] She married Matthew Marshall Birdwell on October 19, 1871 in Nodaway, Missouri. They were the parents of Samuel Husten (1873–1925), Charles C. (1875–1893), Lillie Belle (1878–1892), William Riley (1881–1953), Rebecca Ann (1887–1959), and Fannie Viola (1892-1952). She died on April 7, 1907, in Kendall, Washington at the age of 54, and was buried in Kendall Cemetery, in Kendall, Washington.
