Emma (Moss) Yates was born in Essex, England.



Emma Moss was born in 1869. She was the daughter of Joseph Moss and Hannah Andrews. [1]

In 1871 census Emma is living with her mother and aunt. [3]

In 1887, Emma married William Yates. The marriage was registered in Romford, Essex, England. [4]

She passed away in 1906.[5] Possibly shortly after they married, Emma and her husband had gone to India. Their first two children were born there, but they had returned by 1892.

In 1901, Emma and her husband had six children, with four being born in England. The family were residing in Charlton and Kidbrooke, London, Middlesex. Emma's husband was a labourer. [6]
