Elizabeth Moss, daughter of Samuel Moss and Elizabeth Cobb, was born around 1746 in Granville County, North Carolina.[1] The Moss family seems to have alternately spelled their name "Moss" and "Morse."
Around 1772, Elizabeth married Thomas Craft,[1] and they had at least one child:
Sadly, Elizabeth died in 1775, not long after her son's birth. She was buried in Morse Plantation Cemetery, Oak Hill, Granville County, North Carolina.[2]
