Benjamin Moss was born about 10 Feb 1702 in Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut Colony, son of John Moss and Martha Lothrop.

Benjamin (26) and Abigail Cowles (25) were married on 28 May 1728 in Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut. Abigail was born on 18 Jan 1703 in Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut, Colonial America. She was the daughter of Joseph Cowles and Abigail (Royce) Cowles. Their children were:

  1. Mary Moss (1731–1819)
  2. Abigail Moss (~1740– )
  3. Joseph Moss (1742–1819)
  4. Martha Moss (1744– )

Benjamin passed away on 10 Jun 1761 in Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut Colony, aged about 59. He was buried in Hillside Cemetery, Cheshire, New Haven County, Connecticut.[1]
