Biography
Rhoda was born on 22 Jul 1764 in Dutchess, New York Colony. She was the daughter of James Mott and Anne Rogers.[1]
She married Silas Haight, son of John and Sarah Haight, on 25d 9m 1783 [25 Sep 1783].[1] The following excerpt is from the records of the Nine Partners monthly meeting:[1]
Nine Partners Twenty fifth day of the Ninth month in the year One Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty Three [1783].
Silas Haight son of John and Sarah of Nine Partners and Roda Mott dau of James, deceased and Anne of Nine Partners … Consent of Parents … allowed of by s’d meeting … [signed] Silas Haight Rhoda Haight …
