Elihu Mott was born on 13 Apr 1789 in Winchester Township, Litchfield, Connecticut, United States, son of Adam Mott Jr. (1736 - ~1836) and Anna Cyrena (Gleason) Mott (1763 - 1806).

Elihu married Fannie Foster .

• Clearfield County Will Book A, Pg 346 For the Estate of Elihu Mott, deceased, Letters of Administration were granted to Homer W. Mott on February 27, 1858.

16:03, 31 July 2017 (EDT)~~ Notes from Joyce Farley after a 1992 visit to the cemetery. She was given a typed paper from an older woman she met at the Clearfield Library who may have been connected with the Mott family. The typed paper was recorded by Jane Elling and had Elihu Mott buried in the Sabin Stahl Cemetery.
