Will. Joseph[4] Mott, son of Adam Mott, made his will March 24 1734-35; proved February 6, 1735-36. He was of Hempstead, weak, etc, and left to his oldest son, Joseph Mott, 300 pounds; the residue of his movable estate he gave to his children: Joseph, Samuel and Jacob Mott, and Ann, wife of Samuel Cornell, and to the children of his daughter, Jane, wife of Benjamin Seaman. Executors: Elias Dorlense and John Mott, son of his brother, John Mott. He was a Vestryman, St. George’s Church, 1708-1711. [5]
