Biography

Joseph Frederick MOTTRAM was born on 4 September 1910 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia[1]. He was the son of Albert Ancott MOTTRAM and Amelia Jane BARTLEY.

Phylis Amy SHREIWEIS and Joseph Frederick MOTTRAM were married on 31 October 1936 in Queensland, Australia[2].

9 November 1940, Joseph enlisted in the Australian Army, Service Number: Q66032. First assigned to 1st Labour Company, he was transferred to 3 Aust. Works and Parks Company, attained the rank of Sapper and finally discharged on 25 February 1944[3][4].

He passed away on 23 December 1995 Brisbane, Queensland, Australia[5] and is buried in Hemmant Cemetery, Brisbane (Plot: Lawn 11, 392)[6].
