Henry was born in 1889. He was the son of Samuel Mottram and Elizabeth Gourlay. He passed away in 1917.[1]
Henry enlisted in the Australian Army (AIF) in February, 1916, and was Killed in Action (died of wounds) in September 1917, in Belgium. He is buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Poperinge, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium and he is commemorated on the Roll of Honour at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.[2]
