Shirley, hope all is well. I completed the update of the profile for Amanda C. Snider, Snider-1847, by adding an in-line biography with sources. Thank-you for the help. Rod

Hello Shirley, hope all is well with you. I proposed a merge with your Snider-838, and Snyder-1847 of another profile manager. Can you please review your Snider-838 and approve the merge so I can complete it. The other profile manger has approved his. I want to add her husbands and complete sourcing her profile. Thank-you. Hello Shirley, hope all is well with you. You proposed a merge with Kiracofe-19 and Kiracofe-49. I can not see Kiracofe-19, because it is listed as a living person, and is only visible to the profile manager, which I assume is you. Can you open it up so I can view it to approve the merge. Thank-you Shirley.

Rodney updated Francis's profile, so try it again and let me know if you need me to try something else. Both profiles are the same person, I have his spouse and children listed. Since he is now listed as non-living, he's no longer blocked from viewing.
Shirley, yes I can now see it, but you need to set the privacy level to "open" before I can merge them.

Hi Shirley,

Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a Pre-1700 Project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Collaboration is essential because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants.

It looks like US History Project would be a good fit with the tag you entered. Adding the tag United_States_History will help you get updates about activity for that project.

Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)

Hi Shirley,

Thanks for having a Big Heart and adopting Orphan Profiles. You will want to read this After adopting orphans to understand what to do next.

Bevins-12 is a direct line on my paternal/ grandfather side.
Shirley, do you happen to speak any other languages? Would you check out our languages template and add it to your biography? For example you might add

{{ Languages | en | fr-2 | ga-1 }}

to the top of your biography if you speak English natively, intermediate French and basic Irish, or you could use de-4 to specify near-native German or ru-1 for basic Russian, and so forth up to ten languages.

It really helps to know who speaks all the different languages used on WikiTree! If you only speak English, you're very welcome to use this text to make that clear:

{{ Languages | en }}

Thanks,

Karen

I've been trying to work on family genealogy for some time now, but with HDD computer problems I kind of got discouraged.

I have a gedcom file but can't access it from here. I'm looking for more information on the Mowery family - I've linked my family on Find A Grave and have also linked my husband and his family on their website.

Welcome, as a guest to WikiTree! We're growing a FREE worldwide family tree, striving for ONE collaborative profile per person.

To start:

1. Our Honor Code is a very important part of why our community is such a friendly place to grow your family tree so please take some time to read it.

2. Feel free to ask a question at our G2G forum. Our help pages, menu top right -very useful information.

3. Check out the Family Tree & Tools tab at the top of your profile!
