Elizabeth Moxley was the daughter of Nehemiah Moxley, Senior. ^[1]

Records from 1847 give the age of Elizabeth as 61 in that year, placing her birth year as about 1786. ^[1]

Marriage to John Wilson

On May 21, 1800 Elizabeth married John Wilson, a farmer. In the 1847 record he was aged 75, thus born in 1772; when they married in 1800, John would have been 28 and Elizabeth 14. ^[1]
