Biography

Fretz[1] reports that Christian was born in 1755 in Montgomery County, son of Christian Meyer and Susanna Detweiler. He inherited 100 acres of the family property, but sold it after 5 years to his brother, Jacob, and moved to Springfield, Bucks County. He was a farmer and a Mennonite. He married Mary Freed and had children :

  5. Sarah m. Christian Young (Fretz, p.66) [1]
  6. Elizabeth m. Henry Young (Fretz, p.66) [1]

Notes

Fretz does not mention Henry b.1778 as a son of Christian. Is there any evidence for including him in this family?
