↑ Source: #S305 Page: Citing the OPR Data: Text: Now the Church of Scotland Parish registers lists a family of John Moyes and his wife Margaret Taylor as having been married in Kettle in 1776 and as having the following children Helen 1777, James 1779, Alison 1782, Thomas 1785, Isabel 1787, William 1790, Margaret 1792, and Robert 1795. The first three of these children were christened in Kettle, the fourth (Thomas) in Ceres, the next two in Kettle, the seventh in Cults, and the eighth, Robert, in Ceres.
