Biography

When Elizabeth Moyle was born in 1828, in Wendron, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom, her father, William Moyle, was 38 and her mother, Elizabeth Thomas, was 32. She married Phillip Macumber on 11 September 1848, in Burra, South Australia, Australia. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 1 February 1870, in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia, at the age of 42, and was buried in Sandhurst, Victoria, Australia.[1]

She arrived at Port Adelaide, South Australia on the 'Aboukir' on 30 May 1847 according to South Australia State Records GRG 56/68/7 - Female Immigrants.

On 11 September 1848 Elizabeth Moyle (20) married Phillip Macumber (21) in the schoolhouse, Kooringa, South Australia.^[1]

They left South Australia and settled in Victoria

She passed away in 1870 aged 39 years^[2]
