Recently joined the England project-hope I can be of some help but at this point I think I am more of a liability than a asset.
Moysey associated with Australia, Canada, England and USA.
I have a GED of my surname. Most of the older data was gathered by Peter Reed and/or Brian Moysey, They are both residents of England. As I stumble thru Wikitree, hopefully not messing anything up I will try to answer any questions regarding my entries. I have a number of what I believe are matches but some details differ on places. Not familiar with English geography as I live in the USA so they may be the same.
I joined the England project which , I think, entered me into the United_Kingdom project. I have so much information to understand about Wiki that I am overwelmed.

Hi James ,

It's been a year since the England Project was re-ignited. Thank you for being part of this exciting journey!

We really appreciate all your contributions and hard work :)

We would love some feedback from you please. :)

Are you happy contributing with the team you are on, or would you like a change, or even add to another team?

If you are not already on a team, which one would you like to be on?

If you are not sure what is available, just ask, we are here to help :)

Are you still happy contributing to the England Project?

Please PM me through my profile and let me know how you are doing :)

Thank you :)

A warm welcome to the England Project. We are so glad you joined us!!

Your badge also automatically signs you up to the United Kingdom Project.

Hi James --

You’ve been here about a week, so I’m just checking in. How is it going so far? Were the How-Tos helpful or did they leave you with questions?

We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

PS Sometimes links don't work in emails. You can always find a link that works in the public comments on your profile.

Hi James, Thank you for the message and questions!

Have you clicked the link in the below confirmation message on the New Member How to Use WikiTree Pages? It is a great guide for helping you in getting started at WikiTree.

Click here on how to adopt orphaned profiles. How do you find and adopt orphans? Orphaned profiles will have a little "[adopt this profile]" link where the manager's name usually appears. Note that you'll need to be a signer of Honor Code for this form to work.

Click here for Help Page on [https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Adding_Family Adding Family by Connecting Existing Profiles.

P.S. If you ever get a "Page Not Found" error when you click a link in a WikiTree email, you can usually find a functioning link in the public comments section of your profile page.

Hi James,

Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.

Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.

Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.

Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.

Ludwig :)

Hi James, Thank you for your message and questions!

I see you have not used the email to finish setting up your account and until you add your tags and volunteer using the email you will only be able to work on your profile and can not add family/ancestors to WikiTree.

Hi James, Thank you for the message and question!

The confirmation for WikiTree comes to you as an email, so you may need to check your inbox and spam folder. If you cannot find the email, a new confirmation email can be generated at E-mail confirmation problems.

You use the email to go to your homepage, then you add 1 to three tags for surnames, locations, events with a comment as to your interest in the tag and genealogy. Then you click the green box that says add tags and volunteer. Then a greeter will drop by and confirm you a full member of Wikitree.
