Biography
Elizabeth was born in 1777.[1] to William Muckley and Hannah (Wilkes) Muckley.
She had her first son, out of wedlock, John Sparrow Muckley, in 1800. [2] John's middle name Sparrow is also a surname in the area so it is likely one of the Sparrow family is the father.
On May 25, 1808, she married William Belcher, a widower. [3]
On the 1851 Census, she is found living with her granddaughter's, Hannah (Muckley) Kendrick, family. [4]

Belcher-3282 and Muckley-50 appear to represent the same person because: When I looked at Belcher-3282 I instantly recognized who it was - the grandmother Belcher on the 1851 census living with the family of Enoch Kendrick and Hannah Sparrow Muckley Kendrick. After doing additional research on the Muckley family, I was able to identify Hannah Sparrow's father, John Sparrow, who was born to a Elizabeth Muckley in 1800. Elizabeth Muckley was found to be born in about 1777 to William and Hannah, and a 30 year old single Elizabeth Muckley was found marrying a William Belcher in 1808 (so abt 1777 birth year). She is found living with Hannah Muckley and her brother James in 1841, and with Hannah's family in 1851, all with consistent age of being born in 1777. Thus, this cements Elizabeth Belcher as associated with the Muckley family and as Elizabeth Muckley Belcher, mother of John Sparrow Muckley and grandmother of Hannah Sparrow Muckley.

Eliza Belcher is actually Elizabeth Muckley, mother of John Sparrow Muckley who was illegitimate, and then married William Belcher. She is listed as living with Hannah Sparrow Muckley, her granddaughter in the 1851. I will move forward to create Elizabeth Muckley elsewhere, but this profile should be merged with that one and then dissolved as shown here.
