Ann reports to be from Kentucky and all of the children were born in Kentucky. James reports to be a wagon maker and John and Henry are farmers. Neighbors include Spaldings, Prices, Holthouses and Queens.

Page 72 shows Michael Aud (48) and wife Helena (41), (his 2nd wife) and his children Martin (20), Thomas (18), Eliza (16), Rosana (14), Urban (11) and then their children Michael (5), Martha (2). Also living with them is Catherine Bowls (36) and Felix Aud (24). Michael reports to be a farmer with real estate valued at $2,000 and a personal estate of $700. Martin and Thomas are farm hands. Ms. Bowls is listed as a domestic lady and Felix is a farm hand.

Page 28 shows Miceal Aud (68) and wife Sara (57). Michael reports to be a shoemaker from Kentucky and his father is from Maryland and his mother from North Carolina. Sarah is from Virginia and nothing noted about the origins of her family. This is the 3rd wife for Michael.

~ Marriage record info obtained from Dr. Richard Mudd, Mudd Family of the United States, The, and he states that the bond posted 11 Aug 1851 by John R. Mudd married by F. Demaria. Her name on the marriage record is Ellen.
~ No death record has been located for her.
~ No death record located for him either.
~ Helena was living in Nelson County at the time she was married. She is the second wife of Michael Aud who was living in Daviess County when his first wife died. This suggests Michael knew her already and went to Nelson County to marry her and bring her back to Daviess County.
~ Michael Aud is buried in the Saint Lawrence Cemetery in Knottsville as are his parents and some of his children, his siblings and his first wife.
