(48) and their children Clyde (22), Delbert (20), Ambrose (15), Harrold (14), Edward E. (12), Burnetta (9) and Erma (7). Also living with them is his father Charles (87). The home they are renting is located at 1120 West Third Street. All are reporting they and their parents were born in Kentucky. Charles reports to be a blacksmith, Clyde a laborer for a tin shop, Delbert a tinner for a flour machinery and Ambrose and Harrold are press cleaners for a printing office.
1922 – Kentucky, Daviess County, Owensboro, 3 May 1922 Death record for Charles V. Mudd shows his date of birth as 25 Feb with no year given. Cause of death is listed as cancer of the rectum, which he had for 2 years and 8 months. He is reported to have been a blacksmith. His parents are listed as Charles Mudd and Margaret Lefler of Kentucky. The informant was Charles W. Mudd. He was to be buried at St. Stephens.
1930 – Indiana, Dubois County, Ferdinand, District 9, 7 May 1930 Sheet 8B shows Thomasine M. Mudd (19) living at the Convenant of the Immaculate Conception and listed as an inmate. She is singe, 19 years old and reports she and her parents were born in Kentucky. She has no job within the convent.
1940 – Indiana, Perry County, Anderson, District Sheet 6A shows Sister Thomasine Mudd (29) living with 3 other Sisters in a home they rent on Road 31. Sister Thomasine is an assistant. She is 29, has completed 3 years of college and is from Kentucky. The others, including Sister Cornelia Frey are from Indiana. She reports she was living in rural Knox County, Indiana in 1935. She is a teacher at a school and earned $880 the previous year.
