Joseph Mudd was born in 1770 in Topcroft, Norfolk. He was the son of William Mudd and Ann Symonds[1].
He married Charlotte Watts in 1792 in Brockdish, Norfolk,[2] and they had 7 children.
After Charlotte's death in 1815 Joseph married Elizabeth Goose in 1816 in Topcroft[3] and they had a further 4 children.
Joseph died of old age in 1844 in Norwich, Norfolk,[4][5] and was buried there[6].
