On the 1880 Springfield Court House Precinct, she is listed as Annie E. Mudd, a 19-year-old, single, Ky native, living with her parents, Joseph B. and Mary E. Mudd. On the 1900 Springfield, Washington Co., Ky Census, she is listed as Annie E. Hamilton, a 39-year-old, born June 1860, Ky native, living with her husband, Thomas J. Hamilton, and sons, Arthur J., Edgar, Guy D., Geo. R., and Joseph B. Hamilton. She had 5 children and 5 were alive at that time.
